The area known today as the Glass Quarter has been home to glassmaking for over 400 years with the name 'Stourbridge Glass' being prized internationally.   

Visitors to the Glass Quarter can experience the wonders of this most versatile material by exploring the various studios, workshops, retails outlets and heritage sties that the Glass Quarter has to offer.

Blowing Glass

Glass Quarter Events 

Events take place throughout the Glass Quarter, both at the Red House Glass Cone and Broadfield House Glass Museum, as well as the factories and studios.

International Festival of Glass

Broadfield House Glass Museum- contains one of the finest collections of  glass in the country.

The Red House Glass Cone - A unique heritage site, one of only four left in the UK. Watch glass blowing demostrations and purchase your own bespoke piece of glass.
