There are a number of glassmakers and craft studios based in the Stourbridge Glass Quarter, specialising in contemporary, traditional cut glass, bespoke pieces of art or jewellery. The Red House Glass Cone has recently undergone major restoration works to preserve it for generations to come and we are currently relocating our Hot Glass Studio and hope to have glass blowing demonstrations soon.

Glass Quarter Designs is a collaboration between three amazing glass artists, Sarah Cordingley, Jane Ellis and Charlotte Hughes-Martin.
Sarah and Jane specialise in fused glass and lamp work glass bead making and workshops are available by appointment. Charlotte is a hot glass artist who specialises in engraving, sculpture and glass casting. One off sculptural glass pieces are made as well as limited edition functional glass.

Currently working mainly developing forms using thrown, slabbed, coiled and pinch-pot techniques to create sculptural and functional items. Often pieces incorporate recycled glass along with other materials to enhance decorative qualities. When focusing upon glass artwork the preferred technique is pate de verre using recycled glass. Open 10am to 3pm weekdays.
Artist-researcher. The Human Limpet Project is a long term based inquiry into the entangled relationships between humans and limpets over time. Creating The Limpetarium, a room of limpet wonder and exhibition. The studio will be open at various events or by appointment.
Mike creates limited edition engravings that depict Birmingham and the West Midlands. Mike offers courses and workshops in the following original printmaking techniques; linocut, collagraph, engraving, drypoint and monotype. By appointment only.

Rosa Ferris’ glass studio aims to give you a sense of wonder at stained glass and kiln formed glass. She creates contemporary architectural windows, and is highly experienced in restoring windows to revive the beauty of your home. She currently creates glass jewellery and glass sculptures as well. She offers a creative space to unwind, with weekly classes in stained and kiln formed glass, where she passes down her skills. You can also approach her for tailor-made workshops.
